Sorry for the inconvenience. Here's some steps you can take. Please see below.

Check if it's really defective

Please help check with the following steps:

  1. Unplug the WiiM Mini and plug it again, wait for 30 seconds till it fully boots up
  2. Press and hold 'Play' button for 3 or more seconds on top of the device. Can you hear any voice prompt such as "Now in setup mode, follow instructions ...".?
  3. If you press and hold 'Play' button for 10 or more seconds, can you see the LED flashes in white and red color? If you don't hear or see the LED changes in steps 2 and 3, it means the device is defective.

Get it a replacement with your seller

Please work with the distributor you purchased the device from to work out how to get a replacement device. Please let them know the results from the above operation.

2 people have this question

I just unboxed a new unit and connect fine to wifi, did the firmware update as requested by the app and now I have this problem. White light fast flashing. Appears to be dead.

Should I return it to Amazon as faulty?

I am also experiencing the same issue.

My WiiM mini has been working correctly (with no issues) for a month and then yesterday powered up with a White led flashing and the unit now appears to be dead.

I am unsure if the unit is dead and cannot understand how this has happened as to my knowledge it has now had a new firmware update.

Could you please advise as I need to know if I should return the product to Amazon.
