This tutorial will guide you through using the Open Network Stream service in the WiiM Home app.


The Open Network Stream service allows you to play audio from a direct stream link, such as online radio stations or podcast URLs. 

Use the Open Network Stream Service


Follow these steps to use this service:

  1. Open the WiiM Home app.
     
  2. Navigate to the Browse tab.
     
  3. Select the Open Network Stream service under Music Services. 
  4. Enter a compatible URL of the radio station or podcast you want to stream. See Compatible URLs for details. 
  5. Tap Open stream to start playback.

Manage Saved Network Stream URLs


Once a network stream URL is played, it will be automatically saved under My Network Streams for easy access in the future.


You can perform the following actions on saved URLs:

  • Remove a URL: Tap Edit in the My Network Streams section to delete any saved URLs.

  • Edit or Add to Presets: Tap ... next to a saved URL to edit the link or add it to your Presets.

Tip: Test for Compatibility  


To ensure compatibility, test your stream link in a web browser before adding it to the WiiM Home app. If the link plays correctly there, it should work seamlessly with WiiM.
