Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Wi-Fi Connectivity: Ensure your mobile device and the WiiM device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Access Google Home: Open the Google Home app on your mobile device. Make sure you're signed into your Google account.
  3. Choose Your GVA Device: In the app, select the GVA device you wish to pair with your WiiM device.
    A GVA device refers to any device that supports Google Assistant, such as the Google Home Mini.
  4. Device Settings: Tap the settings icon for the chosen GVA device.
  5. Navigate to Audio Settings: In the settings menu, find and tap on 'Audio'.
  6. Set Default Music Speaker: Select 'Default Music Speaker' to specify which device plays music by default.
  7. Select WiiM Device: From the list of available speakers, choose 'WiiM device'. This sets the WiiM device as your default music speaker.
