If you prefer to use your own external DAC, WiiM allows you to bypass its built-in DAC and output digital audio directly to an external DAC.
Depending on your WiiM model, you can connect your DAC using one of the following digital output ports:
- Optical Out
- COAX Out
- USB Out
When using any of these digital outputs, the audio signal is sent in digital form, and the digital-to-analog conversion is handled entirely by your extrnal DAC.
