The WiiM Home app now lets you manage which input sources appear in the Browse tab, so you can keep only your most frequently used sources visible. The updated input sources will also automatically sync across the app, WiiM Voice Remote, and WiiM device on-screen display (if available), making it easier to switch between input sources without clutter or confusion. In addition, you can easily rename each input source and adjust its specific settings to suit your preferences.
This article will guide you through how to manage input sources in the WiiM Home app.
Hide Unused Input Sources
WiiM devices support multiple input sources, but you may only use a few of them regularly.
To keep your interface clean and avoid clutter, you can hide unused sources by following these steps:
- Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.
Go to the Browse tab. All available input sources are displayed at the top.
Tap Manage next to Source Input to enter the input source editing page.
Tap the
icon next to the input source you want to hide, then tap Delete.
Repeat Step 4 to hide additional input sources if needed.
When completed, tap Done in the top right corner to save your changes.
After this, only your frequently used input sources will be shown in the Browse tab.
After editing input sources in the app, the available input sources will also be updated accordingly for source switching via the WiiM Voice Remote and the WiiM device's on-screen display (if available).
Show Hidden Input Sources
To make a hidden input source visible again in the Browse tab of the WiiM Home app, follow these steps:
Go to the input source editing page by tapping Manage next to Source Input.
Under Available Inputs, tap the
icon next to the input source you want to show.
Tap Done in the top right corner to save your changes.
The selected input source will now appear in the Browse tab for easy access.
Configure an Input Source
From the input source editing page, you can adjust settings for each input source to better suit your preferences.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the input source editing page by tapping Manage next to Source Input.
In the Visible Inputs list, tap the three dots (···) next to the input source you want to configure.
From the pop-up menu, you can rename the input source and adjust the settings, such as EQ and Pre-Gain.
Note: Available settings may vary depending on the input source type.Go back to configure other input sources if needed.
When completed, tap Done in the top right corner to save your changes.
